Royal Republiq

PROUD OF THEIR PAST AND INSPIRED BY THE PRESENT

Encouraged by their own restless nature, they approach an increasingly diverse, yet interconnected world with an open mind. They are proud of their past and inspired by the present. They are Royal Republiq.

ROOTED IN DENMARK, BASED IN AMSTERDAM

Royal Republiq is a leather brand founded in 2006, rooted in Denmark and based in Amsterdam. They are proud of their history, which is reflected in all aspects of their company- including the first part of their name, ‘Royal’. Which represents their deep respect for the ancient monarchial tradition. The latter part, ‘RepubliQ’ adds a contemporary note, reflecting their ambition to look ahead, keep an open mind, and create a balance between ancient history and modern tendencies.

MATERIALS

Their profound passion for natural and long-lasting materials combined with a deep respect for good craftsmanship are the basis for their products. Quality and longevity are paramount, as they wish to create functional and trustworthy products with high use-value. Products which age with grace and grow character over time.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Natural materials, innovation and good craftsmanship. Their profound passion for natural and long-lasting materials, leather in particular, combined with a deep respect for good craftsmanship form the foundation for their products. Quality and longevity are paramount, as they wish to create functional and trustworthy products with high use-value. Product design at Royal RepubliQ is a science, continuously finding the right balance between, function, comfort, and appearance. To ensure that their products are fulfilling their purpose, they develop their own unique lasts for each Royal RepubliQ style and as they continue to develop themselves and expand their knowledge, their products continue to develop too. Rather then introducing radical novelties every season, they introduce evolutions of their existing styles, where at first glance the appearance of the actual product may change, the principal is still the same. Form will always follow function.
